A graduate of HEC Paris, majoring in Finance (cum laude), Pierre-Jean has over 25 years of experience in investment banking, corporate finance, and the management of international groups.
He began his career at Société Générale, within the Structured Finance teams in Johannesburg, New York and London, where he contributed to the development of cross-border financing and M&A activities. He then joined Deutsche Bank in Paris, followed by Ethypharm, where he served as VP Business Development & M&A and CFO, leading several external growth and strategic financing operations.
Pierre-Jean continued his career at Rabobank as a Senior Banker, responsible for developing an international client portfolio in the food & agribusiness and consumer goods sectors, structuring complex European transactions, before becoming CFO of the Loret Group.
Building on this dual experience in financial advisory and corporate management, he founded Fournel Advisory in 2013, with the ambition of supporting entrepreneurs, executives, and investors in their sale, acquisition, LBO, fundraising, and financial restructuring operations.
In parallel, he created Blue Group, an ecosystem of over 20 B2B service companies, which he developed to more than 700 employees before exiting the group in 2019.
Recognized for his international vision and extensive transactional experience, Pierre-Jean brings to Fournel Advisory a unique combination of expertise — blending the perspectives of the investment banker, the corporate finance executive, and the entrepreneur.
